Another consideration you won't have to worry about is liability for flight. Some drawings are published "for educational purposes only" in hopes that if someone actually made an aircraft based on those drawings, that would somehow absolve the artist of responsibility in the event of an accident. I guess they haven't met the right lawyer.

There was a full size cardboard model of Rickenbacker's Spad XIII on display at the Toledo, Ohio Zoo for many years. Last time I saw it was maybe 10 years ago and it was starting to look a bit ragged. Anyone know if it still exists? There was an article about it in the old U.S. Cross and Cockade Journal but I have no idea which issue now.

Weren`t some of the C47`s in one of the recent Spielberg movies 2D cutouts?? And wouldn`t one of those look doozy on the ol` front pasture?-especially in mine coz the local plodchopper would have kittens trying to figger out how a Dak landed in my postage stamp of a garden
