I am looking for information on documented WWI German pilot groupings that include Aviation badges made by C.E. Juncker, Berlin. The "promanance" of the badge(s) have to be 100% and defendable.

The issue is over the Prussian 1886 Order requiring the Crown and Crescent Moon silver stamps for 800 content silver or higher. Some badges have them both, and others just the crescent moon? Why would a badge lack the required imperial crown?

Many feel it is a period variation, others an indication of a fake.

Please advise if you have such badges that are documented.

I always welcome 300 dpi / High resolution pictures etc.

Hello,

Recently in Germany, one dealer Detlev Niemann has said that the genuine pilot badge of WW1 does not have a crown between the hallmoon and the 800 silbermark. All the genuine pilot badge I have seen, all have not the crown. So if someone have more information I will be interrested for my archive.

Mulzer ???
