I just want to wish the legion d'honneur (france premier order) an happy 200 birthday
it was created by a decree of general Bonaparte premier consul the 29 floréal year X
among the famous non human being recipient we can give the city of Paris Belgrade and Stalingrad a few military school among them West Point and Annapolis
It is important to make the difference betwen the medal given at individual (or collectif title) and the fourager that was given to unit after a certain number of citation
