Post-Bellum, 1920, a group of Oz airmen formed The Digger's Co-Operative Aviation Co. Ltd. Plan was to merge the War Gratuity Bonds of about 30 blokes, and buy a plane, do joy rides and share the profits.

On the prospectus, it reads, "(Money) to be expended on the purchase of one AVRO aeroplane fitted with 130 hp Clerget Engine; machine converted to carry two passengers and pilot;and with heavy propellor and BE2C type wheels........"

Why BE2C? Plenty of multi seat Avro's about. Did they all have BE wheels? Stronger; bigger; better?
