I have been interested in all aspects of military history ever since a child. But, for some reason lately I have taken special interest in Friedrich Christiansen. I can only find minimal information on him and was wondering if anyone knew where or what I could do to find more (personal) info on him?

Hello Shaner,

I went through some old Over The Front issues. In volume 15 number 3 (fall 2000) is an article by Christiansen himself (translated by O'Brien Browne): Battle Flights over the Channel. The article relates some of his early adventures as a pilot at the Naval Air Station at Zeebrugge on the Belgian coast.

Greetings,

Jos

Hi,

During the last month's we had several discussions on Christiansen in this section of the Forum starting somewhere in January this year. It should be a pretty good start.

Also visit www.voy.com/65298/

If more questions after that (of which I'm shure) we will gladly answer them.

And welcome to the Forum !

Best from Regulus
