I'd say public outcry is in order. Perhaps a National Landmark status can be achieved... unless it is too late.

That is just a shame! The article was written in Jan 2002--does anyone know the current status?

Phoenix Union High School has had three Congressional of Medal Honor recipients. Pretty impressive. By comparison, Amy's old high school has had -0- MoH recipients.

My high school has no MOH winners either. We have just have a hall of fame for feather merchants.

Fred Ferguson (UH-1 pilot, Vietnam) contributed to my MoH book; will see if I can get his take on the impending demolition of his old high school. You can bet that HE knows about

Frank Luke even if others around here do not.
