Regulus Forum Ace Join Date: Jan 2002 Location: Jabbeke-Flanders, Home of the Marine Jagdgeschwader Posts: 2,657	Hi, On the 12th March 1918 both men are shot down in flames before the coast of De Haan by two enemy fighterplanes. Both men died in this action and their bodies were recovered. The plane did sink and was not salvaged. So they flew a two-seater. Found this in the Tätigkeitsbericht of the 7th till 13th March 1918 of Kofl Marinekorps. However the unit is not mentioned. Does anyone know what unit they belonged to ?
