A couple of years back I mentioned the Bell-Irving family of British Columbia, which must hold the Canadian record for decorations won by one family in WW1.
The brothers were Henry (Lieut.,RN; DSC & Bar); Richard (Lt.Col.,29th Bn.;OBE); Roderick (Maj.,16th Bn.,DSO,MC, KIA);Malcolm (Maj.,RFC, DSO,MC); Andrew (Maj.,16th Bn.& RFC, MC & BarCr.deG.); and Aeneas (Lt.,RA). To the we list we might add cousin Angus (Lt.,RFC,MC).
Can any forumites think of other families with such distinguished records? Obviously the von Richthofen clan did rather well.
