After moving to an old farm a number of very old books were found. One book of interest;
"The Peoples War Book"
Autographed edition
Signed by Lt. Col W.A. Bishop
Copyright 1919 by John Thomas
Editor, James martin Miller
This book of 520 pages a numerous B&W and color photographs depicting scenes of WWI
How would I find the value of this book which is in very good condition. I may post it on ebay

The BIG question is, how many other copies are available at any one time. When they first started selling on eBay, they were going for over $100.00. This was for those that were even in passable condition.

I bought two copies on eBay, the first one cost over $150.00 and it really wasn't in very good shape. The second one I got a month or so later, for $65.00 and it is in very good shape. I can even read it without worrying whether or not it falls apart. Mind you, I RARELY open it.

The first one, I gave as a wedding present to a friend in Canada who helped me out a lot with starting my web site on Billy Bishop.

I'd say, check and see if there are any other copies on eBay currently. If not, you could see at least $100.00 and possibly more.

Good Luck,

Al Lowe

Al,
thanks for your response, I would say this book is in very good condition as well as the autographed page.
