Hi,

I' searching for information on Dietrich Hinrichs. No rank and unit known. According to his grandson he flew as an obsever and was shot down several times. He died in 1939 because of the wounds he received. Anybody knows ???

Regards, Immo

Immo,

I show a Ltn. Hinrichs as an observer in Fl.Abt. 253(A) in, at least, Jun18. *This may very well be your man. * * *R.

Thanks Rick! All I know about him up to now is, that he was probably born in Berlin. Hmm...even don't know much about FAA 253 but I think it had its base in Pont ā Marcq, 6 km south of Lille within 6.Armee in summer 1918 :-/
