I don't think the Germans had developed anything new beyond the 12.5kg thermite bombs,50,(110lbs.) 100,(220 lbs.) 300(660lbs) and 1000 kg (2200 lbs) bombs. Think of what they could have done with a squadron raid on Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Wash.D.C. "Silent Raid No 2." We would not have known they were here until the bombs exploded!
Imagine if each airship had 25000 lbs of bombs with a mix of 12.5 Thermite, 100, 300 and 1000 kg bombs.
