My Gallery
Hi
I'm making a model (digital) of the Boistrancourt aerodrome used by Jasta 5. I have already constructed buildings 4 and 5 and am now looking to make that long shed-like building with 4 "bays" oddly labeled 1 and 3 (as per the photos in the Squadron "in action" book pgs14 & 29)

From the photos you can see that this building is open it's entire length with structural supports and cross bracing in between the individual bays.
My question is:
Does anybody have a photo which more clearly shows the internal construction.
I would imagine that these buildings were slapped together using whatever materials and methods were on hand so I doubt there would be much standardisation.

In fact i would be happy with info on almost any building which needed a similar support structure (like a barn)
I am not a structural engineer and have little or no knowledge about construction methods - so I would hate to guess

TIA
Mark
