Wow. I was thinking that the ball & sockets didn't need to made that precise? Is that true? I would have thought that a bull nose end mill or plain drilled holes in the sockets would work fine. How does the alignment of the sockets to the fuselage longerons perfomed? I would think some screw adjusters might be necessary to get all four legs even to the fuselage, but Fokker didn't use any that I could see.
