Uncle's 23 years of celebration

Greetings, All:
On this day of remembrance, I thought I'd pass on the story of my Uncle. He was an air engineer in the Army Air Force during WWII and a life-long RC builder and flyer and fan of WWI aircraft. Himself a very accomplished pilot, he once built most of a full-scale SE5a just out of love for the aircraft - sold the project. He has an RC airfield named after him in Pekin, ILL: Herman D. Lowery Field.
For the last 22 years, on the 21st of April, he has flown his 1/4 scale RC Red Baron DR-1 in memory of the great ace and plans to do the same today. I'm proud of my uncle and owe to him my love of WWI flying.
God rest the soul of Manfed von Rochthofen.
