Junkers R-plane projects

I am new to this wonderful site and this is my first posting.

I have recently purchased an old copy of Haddow and Grosz's "The German Giants", which I had first seen back in the 70's at the local Library. Apart from being fascinated by the Linke-Hoffman RII, I am also interested in the Junkers R plane projects.

I am wondering if there are any more snippets of information out there concerning the Junkers R projects, especially anything in the way of diagrams giving more details than the general arrangement drawings in the book. I guess some features typical of latter Junker planes would be featured in the R planes, like the cockpit of the Junkers F.13 for the R.1? These planes look very similar to the latter Soviet Tupolev TB3 4-engined bombers, or is that just the corrugated skinning?
