Hi Duckman
I can only add a little. Pont a Mousson was against the German C Army Detachment.
They only recorded one certain victory in their weekly report for 14 July 1917.
It was a Spad brought Oblt Robert Greim from Jasta 34 as his third victory. Nothing is mentioned in this report that it went down in flames. Time 8:50.
However the book "French Air Service War Chronicle" says that Lapize from Esc N 90 flew a Nieuport 23 code 4 when lost...?
Another victory was scored by a crew Lt Borchart and Lt Seifert from FAA 276, who shot down another Nieuport this day at Morville(cant find it on my maps).
FAA 276 was probably located a bit north within the 5 Army...
...Esc N 90 had another loss this day with a pilot wounded in action which eventually(?) fits the claim by FAA 276
Probably other have more detailed information...?
:-/
