I, too, had a discussion on the subject of

Billy Bishop with Phil Markham (at one of the Over the Front seminars), at which time he was intent on substantiating Bishop's record.

Some time after that, in Volume 10, Issue 3 of Over the Front, he published, THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF 2 JUNE 1917. AN UNSUCCESSFUL RESEARCH PROJECT.

He felt Bishop was a charlatan, and found no joy in expressing that opinion.
