To answer the queries -
Steve - I usually use blue-tac to hold things together for photos - it's the same stuff you use to hold posters on walls (i'm not sure if it is called the same thing everywhere)?
Patrick - thanks for the info on the rocker arm boxes - silly me had put paint on the darn thing before I saw your post, dang! (Sorry Paul, I hope you don't mind too much!), I can probably make some minor fixes to the bolts on the top of the box and re-touch up with paint...
