John - were it not for the several thousand miles to Hamilton, I'd be in my car to CWH right now! If I had the spare cash I'd make the pilgrimage, but unfortunately the cost of airfares, accomodation etc is about the same for the steel tube for the fuse!
Jeff - at the moment all I need is some closeups of the vertical tail and rudder. I think the horizontals may be handy to have, too, but the current subassembly being worked on is the fin.
Brad - thanks for the info, I'll see if I can get in touch with them. If they can provide it, I'm sure some photos of that would be a great help. Sounds like an amazing display!
Shredward, thanks a million for the link! Handy for having a drool at some other examples!
In addition, the RNZAF Museum at Wigram has a masterful Pup built by Skysport in the 1980s...I'm hoping to get down there soon for a close look. I'll post pics if this comes to pass!
