Welcome.
This is a great site. It is made up of very nice people who take a very serious and scholarly interest in the subject.
I presume from your mention of a school report that you are an adolescent. All the better. I am gratified to see a youth taking an interest in what is for most of us here a favorite subject.
Now to answer your question; Now is the golden age of WW I modeling. Many manufacturers make great kits of WW I aircraft. Go to the Squadron Shop website and you will find what you want. There are many other fine online hobby stores, Rosemont Hobby Shop being one of my favorites, but Squadron is huge, therefore less expensive and quick.
Look at the Roden brand kits. they are the best buy for the money. They make a series of Fokker DVIIs which is my choice for a starter kit as it requires almost no rigging, which is what scares many off of WW I planes. The Roden kits come with a good choice of markings too, so you have lots of choices for accurate color schemes if that is what you want.
Hope this helps,
Terry Crisp
