Re: Udet "tubbing" w/Goering-- Call Udet naive, if you will, but Goering's
shows of comraderie did take him in. Also, even though Goering was Reichsmarschall, Udet was Quartermaster General. All flow of military materials passed under his pen, and not even Goering could trump it. If he wanted resources for his pet projects, he had to play footsy w/ Udet. Needless to say, the egotistical s.o.b. resented this, too, and when he saw a way to take out his old "comrade", he did.

Re: Goering & his fitness program-- There is the most laughable photo of this
lard-butt playing TENNIS !!! He's even wearing a headband ! He looks like
Jim McMahon swallowed "Fridge" Perry !

Re: His aerial skill-- Never said he was an outstanding AVIATOR. Marksman, yes. It is interesting that, upon assuming command of Jasta Richtofen, he found himself "consumed by administrative duties", and therefore unable to actually fly as many sorties. (Hmmmm...)
