I hate to admit it but I'm old enough to have built all those
"old" Aurora kits back in the 1950's when they were new...
As a friend of mine said "they were good for their time". Now,
however, I would say the most vexing kits are from Aeroclub and Blue Max. These are not bad or awful kits just very challenging to build. Just finished a Blue Max M1C Monoplane
and had numerous things to overcome, like the horseshoe
shaped cowling and a white metal interior that required major rework to get a correct fit... Oh well, they are still light years ahead of those old Aurora kits and their clones.
