I haven't been visiting for a couple of weeks. Things suddenly changed direction and I left Derry. Now I am in Berlin editing a video of my daughter Cordelia's song "Ready To Die" (only the young can write such things - the film should be on youTube soon), and believe me, you ain't seen cold till you've tried winter in the central European plains!! But I have to admit, my northern blood kinda likes it... Crazy, but without winter summer wouldn't mean much to me. I once spent most of a year in Australia and by the end I was just praying for a decent snow storm!!
Your book still opens up such visions and ideas for me. Thank you so much for all you've done so far, and if you slow down for a while, well, my mother used to be convinced we aren't descended from apes but from bears, as we all just want to hibernate for the winter!!
