A most impressive and wonderful model, and the Pegasus decals look at least 500% better than the night bomber stuff by Eduard (did they ever inlude any useful lozenge? Better leave them off and lower the price!! )

For the later W.4s their size is ok though, if you count their number on photographs but you wisely selected 954, nothing visible on the photo, nothing to criticise - unless Murphy decides to give us a new photo.

If you look at the two Friedrichshafen on page 10 of the Datafile their hexagons look larger than on most Brandenburgs so there might have been TWO sizes?

The finish of the W.4 is rather complicated, on 747 the tailplane is extremely translucent and the wings not at all. On the cutout there is a dark edge suggesting painted upper surfaces.
Here is a photo from the 1300 series showing the same dark edge to the cutout. Of interest is the rectangular device at left.

Now two photos of 1115 with a nice arrow marking and an overall dark painted scheme in a single colour with light under surfaces - or what is your interpretation? The edge of the cutout appears to be darker than the wing upper surfaces.

Again we have this rectangular thing aft of the radiator and in front of the rigging instructions (?). Note the plate above the exhaust. On the left lower wing there is a white field around the cross, on the right wing there is none.

Looking forward to more pictures of your model
