Sreiko, you are correct ... quite an aircraft! The situation that existed at the time in Germany was responsible for both the positive and negative aspects of the He 162; created as a response to a crisis, development hampered by the crisis.
In respect of the profile created; photographs of He 162 02 (as well as He 162 01) make plain that the marking of the test facility was added to the fin ahead of the rudder, could the paint at the front and rear of the engine nacelle be red, or, red and black? Not criticism Sreiko ... a lovely image of a wonderful aircraft!
