I'll toss my two pence in on the weight question . . .

I’m gonna guess that anything under 40 lbs will be just fine on your Tripehound – so long as you’ve got the CG correct.

Del’s on it’s first flight, at something around 33 lbs, needed more down trim than available, so I kept backing off the power to keep from climbing too much – ended up puttering around the pattern at no more than half power. And like he says, at around 35 lbs it doesn’t even break a sweat.

Just make sure of the Center of Gravity, and you’ll be fine.
