Fokker Dr.I Eduard 1/48 kit 1136

I get it!!!! last half of hours I spent on analyzing of parts and details. Great work for sure! Some solution used on this kit is more then smart, like the additional plastic strip which have to be tape joint on the lower fuselage halfs. Still I did not take ruler to make anhy measurements but even from this first impressions I would like to say- forget about all other kits in this scale!

This kit set als contain two standing figures of Richthofen brothers and dog [no info about dog brothers ]. They are cast in pink resin and quality is excellent. There is also one specials inside- small replica of the "pour le merite" decoration and it is made with lock on back side so you can wear it.

So I going to spray black coat all over the kit as well I always use black as basic coat before start any of work. Assembly suggest that this kit is possible to make in separate sections and then join togetjher. In this build I will try to make separate fuselage and complete paint it and finally fit with allready finished wings and tail.

See more tomorrow... I hope.

Cheers
