Although I abhor what Goring was to become later in life, I have modelled his White DVII from WW1 for the following reasons.
1. In WW1 he was just an overly ambitious soldier fighting for his country. Not necessarily popular but seems to have been respected by most of his WW1 peers.
2. He was the last commander of JG1, a Unit that I model for historical purposes.

That being said I certainly respect the choices/decisions of those whom choose NOT to model his aircraft for the very reason of WHO and WHAT he became.
As for unusable decals, there is no such thing. Serial numbers can be cut and re-arranged, and crosses used on other pojects
