Where were Aerodromes?
Where can I find information on just where the Aerodromes were located? I also want some good information on just what daily life was really like on an airdrome (for the pilots and the mechanics and whoever else "peopled" them...French and British...in the early days of the war....up until early to mid-1917. I've read Letters from a World War I Aviator by Josiah P. Rowe, War Birds unofficially by Springs (who was a very good writer), and From the Ground Up-A History of R.A.F. Ground Crew by F. J. Adkin.
