Now, THAT is an interesting thread! This question ranks right up there with the colour of Lothar's upper wing, and the colour of Voss' cowling! I note that it is mostly "opinion," although very substantial opinion (DSA pretty much knows his stuff) so who's to say for sure after so many years? Ah, you've really got to love this hobby!
