Richtofen emblem
Without specific reference to aircraft, one would think that an aristocratic family (anywhere in Europe) would be likely to have a family crest, coat of arms, or other heraldic emblem. Anyone aware of one for the von Richtofen family?
There are examples of other pilots in the Imperial Air Service who chose to incorporate these symbols on their mounts.
