Actually Sean Yes the old Aurora 1/46 scale kit has the hallmarks of a late OAW type.

Also, the parent company Schwerin and the two licence manufacturers (Albatros at Johannistahl and OAW at Schneidemuhl) did use their own stocks of paint colours. They did vary in tone one from the other.

Coverage was pretty standard in location. Check existing photographs of different types. References are key to help. OAW was famous for their two toned paint schemes on the cowling . Green with mauve lozenges and the wing axle was halved in green & mauve.
