with great interest I read your comment on the emergency landing of Lt.d.R. Naujock on 28 Jan 1918. May I ask, from what source you got this information? I could not find anything within my data regarding this incident. I also have contradicting infos regarding his fate on 9 Mar 1918 when he was shot down over Rumbeke. According to Stephen Lawson he died from a fractured skull after a forced landing (CCI 1989/1, p.31), according to Rick Duiven he was shot through the lungs when landing during combat near Roulers and died of his wounds during transportation to the hospital (TJP, p.221)... So you see, a lot of questions around this guy
