Just as a reminder Staaken R.30 was covered in the normal 5 colour printed loz. But the rest had painted lozenge over all or large portions of their airframe overpainted dark single colour. As Derry has pointed out.
"I'll make the changes as soon as I can. It can be somewhat confusing for the novice. All the aircraft up to the Aviatik and L planes were PAINTED. Construction photos such this quite well. Printed only means the "scheme" style in these cases. We're talking Staakens here. And they were all (with one exception) painted to simulate "printed schemes". . . .the Gotha sheets should arrive shortly. The 1st sheets are for 5 Colour printed Night Scheme for Gothas and the fabric WAS printed Lozenge linen.
The 2nd style will be in the same colours but for a 5 Colour Printed REPEATING pattern. I'll go over to the forum and try and straighten out some of the confusion. Thanks for the update!
Cheers, Derry"
