I think I will hunt down a Hi-Tech kit....it's in 1/48 isn't it? I was thinking more along the lines of 1/32 scale...it will only be uhhhh huge. I don't think I'll go as far as down to the ribs detail just form the wings out of sheet brass with the ribs scribed in and a steel spar for strength. I've found that thin brass will hold it's shape so hopfully the struts will hold it up and together. I figure It'll take forever to build but hey I got time. I'll write the Smith' for the plans. If I ever get anything done on it I hope I get over my fear of posting and offer up some pics to the "Gods" of modeling here. Now I have to get back to my Nieuport 16 (based on the Special Hobby 11)....finish the details on acouple of more planes....I need to learn to keep my mind on track....
