With due allowance for the camera, Sir, that is very impressive work.
At a guess, I would say sections of brass tubing, with jump rings of brass worked to size and soldered on for bezeling, with cores of styrene stock, either shaved off round rods or punched out of sheet, and bits of wire for the needles.
