Thank you very much, Mr. Abbott! You are very kind towards my efforts here.

I was a jeweler as a younger man, and the fingers remember tiny things. If I ever go truely mad, I will reconstitute my old bench tool-set and start making these in silver. I fear if I tried working in larger scales I would never get anything done, because I would try and do too much. In 1/72, you can do things by suggestion that would require more precise representation if they were half again or twice or three times as large.

I was looking through your galleries here last night, by the way, and am sorely tempted to a get an Albatross DIII kit and do one of the early 1917 examples you have shared, the three color scheme one. Your contribution to our community is fantastic, and though my interest is more in Allied types, I greatly appreciate it.
