Yes, the impact of Enemy Ace cannot be exaggerated. I often recall the nite that my father came home from work and handed over that issue of Enemy Ace (Star Spangled War Stories NO. 138). What a thrill!

You may know that DC Comics has issued two Archive collections of the Enemy Ace tales which collect the stories from the runs in Our Army At War, Showcase and Star Spangled War Stories which are beautifully reproduced. As well, however, a collection of Enemy Ace tales has just been published in the Showcase series which prints the original tales by Kanigher and Kubert, but, also those illustrated by Heath, Thorne, Davis and Ortiz, Hama and Smith, Chaykin and the master Severin. The book is printed black on white, no, no colour, but, over 500 pages of tales for 16.99 in the United States or 20.99 in Canada!

Salut!
Kirk
