Most of the scenes are shot at sunrise or sunset, Richtofen is living a grand life mostly in various castles but also sometimes under his tent; never wears a dirty uniform, always eats from delicate china, easy life...
Flying action is computer generated (how easy is is to put dozens of planes in the air at the same time, although highly unrealistic). At least Flyboys trajectories were real. These guys have never flown anything but paper planes at best.
Soundtrack: surprise surprise: shot is english as demonstrated by the add-ons and deleted scenes. Meanwhile german version weird, completely studio-generated and dubbed.
Really it does not matter as it is a very poor movie; Flyboys way way better! and we know this is no jewel either!
Think twice; wait for the next movie instead...

For those really really interested the DVD is distributed by Warner; they must have the rights and power to release an english version. No chance ever to see it on the big screen due to the extremely low entertaining value.
