I can't vouch for the accuracy of the color schemes but there were at least some recognizable aircraft. That is what led me to wonder if some of the pilot's actually flew with MvR. I pretty sure that I saw the black and white striped triplane of Ernst Udet (Jasta 4) and I'm sure I saw one in the markings of Josef Jacobs (Jasta 7). They did give Lothar Von Richthofen yellow trimmed aircraft.
I will have to sit down with a couple of profile books and watch it again just to try to spot specific aircraft. I didn't to think to watch for it at the time but I also want to see if they kept up with changes in insignia as the war progressed.
