Christopher, I think that for most of us it would be an honor and a pleasure to see your project grow into something that surely will be worth watching and supporting (7 years of research?) - and to do so from "the inside" will make it even more exciting. Creating an "inner circle" might also make cooperation with those who have offered their expertise and assistance easier and closer.
