Doug,
If I have the information correct, according to Dan-San the fabric is 1350 mm wide and the pattern repeats every 453 mm. I am not sure what you mean by doing it full scale, but for printing it should be at least 300 dots per inch (11.8 dots per mm). 1350 mm x 453 mm would be about 15,900 x 5350 pixels or about 85,000,000 pixels. Your samples repeat about 10 times so your file would be about 10 times this. That's a huge file. You might want to work with something smaller.
Some numbers to help with scaling (for printing at 300 dpi)
Full Scale: 1350 x 453 mm (15,930 x 5345 pxl)
1/32 Scale: 42.2 x 14.2 mm (498 x 167 pxl)
1/36 Scale: 37.5 x 12.6 mm (443 x 148 pxl)
1/48 Scale: 28.1 x 9.4 mm (332 x 111 pxl)
1/72 Scale: 18.8 x 6.3 mm (221 x 74 pxl)
Note that these will all look big on a monitor. My 15 inch monitor at 1024 x 768 is only about 80 pxl/inch, so it would look about 4 times as big on my monitor as printed. If you just want to experiment with how it would look, you can use the dimensions I have given in mm, but the size forum members will see will vary depending on the size and screen resolution of their monitors.
