Of what you have done, I like #3 the best because it is the subtlest. It appears that you are using the NASM colors (see
Mark Miller's lozenge page). If you look through the other samples, you will see that your bluish green should probably be much darker. The Australian War Memorial is restoring their Alb.D.V. They have
a page that compares the fabric they are using to remnants of original fabric. You can see the colors they are using.
I have attached a sample of "lozenge" fabric that I made using the pictures on the AWM page. It is 450 pxls wide (1 pxl/3 mm). This is just slightly over the 443 pxls for 1/36 scale. It shows the pattern repeated once. The top and bottom match, so that it can be used to make a strip of any length desired. Feel free to copy it (right click, save picture as), and modify it any way you like.
