The superb cover from this book is from Barry Weekley: Ltn

Kurt Monnington of Jasta 18 intercepting DH9s of 104 Squadron on 23 October 1918.

This very fine cover painting is from Joe Keogan. It pictures an attack (20 May 1917) of Feldwebel Karl Kaszala in 28.11 (foreground) and Hauptmann

Godwin Brumowski in 28.10 (background), both of Flik 41/J on a SPAD 11 two-seater with French cockades over Monte Santo.

The last one is a cover from John Blake depicting Albatros D.IIIs and D.Vs of Jasta 12 in September 1917.
