I am in the process of transcribing my wife's great uncle's flight log (he was a gunlayer/observer with the RNAS and RAF in 1918) and although I can interpret most of his shorthand (including "EAs" and "flaming onions"), the "KB" that he strafed from his DH4 "over our old drome at Mons" has me beat - any ideas anyone?
