Stephen's Thread reference is edifying. Seriously he has his thumb on any Enamel Color Formula you need for matcing WWI Colors from hobby paints.

If your not adverse to Acrylic there's MisterKit WWI Colors Of COurse ? After discussion with one of their orginal creators back from 1987 here what they intended to be used for the 2-3 tone camo scheme

with FR12 Light Green for the secound Green if you need it.

Side note I think this early Nieuport Scheme must have been of some consequnce to the Germans whom first must have copied it and then decided it was better for enemy recognition to switch to a green / mauve ?

French Nieuport two-tone camo:
FR09 – Light Grey Green

FR08 – Medium Brown

Undersides:
FR07 – Light Blue

French Nieuports not camouflaged:
FR01 – Aluminium (overall)

FR04 – Clear Doped Linen is good also for other French a/cs, like Morane-Saulniers, Farmans etc. etc. on overall surfaces.

NATIONAL MARKINGS:
FR02 – French Roundel Blue

FR06 – French Roundel Red
