L.F.G. Roland C.VIII. Looking at the picture there is a great change it was taken at the factory premises at Berlin-Charlottenburg, evidenced by the other wingless L.F.G. Roland D-type fighter in the background.
Beware of pencil written identifications on the back of photographs, they may be placed decades later, be inaccurate or just not true.
