That sounds big! Off the top of my head 1mm = 0.040" (close enough for Horseshoes....and "Old Ladies"! : )

The 1 to 2 ratio makes sense for a true Hex,
the top 1/4 = 1/2 0f the length of one side,
as does the bottom 1/4.
This with the top and bottom angles at 45 degrees.
Simple enough! I just like to see how things work.
