Dear Bigglles,

I have read an interview with Udet made in about 1931 by Canadian journalist David B. Rogers, in which he mentions Udet's "lazy blue eyes". I cannot be sure of his hair color, but I think he was somewhat fair-haired. In some early 1917 photos he looks quite blonde, but in others somewhat darker. I think his hair got darker (and definitely thinner !) with age.
