Hi Stephen and all,

I like the look of the new decals but am still struggling to 'understand' the streaking regime on the Fokker Dr1. Having read quite a few articles, including some rather rambling and opaque pieces in 'Windsock', I still do not know whether the pale colour we see in the streaking is simply unpainted doped linen or is actual pale paint (from zinc oxide filler + pigment in the varnish) - the various articles on this seem to suggest one or more pale base coats/streaks (i.e. total coverage of the doped fabric with a tinted and opaque varnish) but, on the other hand, most illustrations (and articles) seem to imply the linen colour.

Please help!
